Confirmation Statement Filing Service

CorpAssist files your company’s confirmation statement with Companies House for £89.99, including the £50 Companies House fee. Tell us what has changed in one short online form. We check the register, the changes you give and each director’s identity verification before anything is filed, so the statement is accepted first time.

One online form · Answers saved as you go · Filed within 1 business day of a complete order · Nothing added at checkout

How It Works

  1. 1Fill in one online form. It takes about 5 minutes and saves as you go.
  2. 2Upload the documents we need and pay securely online.
  3. 3A person checks your answers and the documents you uploaded, and contacts you if anything is missing
  4. 4We prepare the confirmation statement from the register and the changes you gave us
  5. 5Once every director has a personal code, we file it with Companies House through our ACSP partner, including the £50 fee
  6. 6We email you the filing confirmation

What You Need Ready

  • Your company number and the 6-character Companies House authentication code
  • Any changes since the last statement: SIC codes, shareholders, people with significant control
  • The company’s registered email address
  • Each director’s Companies House personal code, or a plan to verify first
  • photo id of the person placing this order; proof of address (issued within the last 3 months) (you can send these after ordering)

Why Use a Filing Service Instead of Doing It Yourself?

Filing online yourself costs £50. Using CorpAssist costs £89.99. What you get for the difference:

  • Directors’ verification checked first. Since 18 November 2025 the statement confirms every director has verified their identity. We look up each director on the register and tell you who still needs a personal code.
  • Changes made in the same filing. New SIC codes, share transfers and PSC updates go into the statement, so you do not miss what the register shows.
  • A person checks it. Shareholder details are checked against the last statement before we file.
  • No Companies House account needed. We file with the company’s authentication code and email you the confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to file a confirmation statement?

Companies House charges £50 to file online, or £110 on paper, once per 12-month review period. CorpAssist charges £89.99 in total, which includes the £50 fee, preparing the statement and checking it before filing.

When is my confirmation statement due?

At least once every 12 months. You have 14 days after the end of the review period to file it. The date is on the company’s page on the Companies House register; enter your company in our form and we show it to you.

Do directors need a personal code for the confirmation statement?

Yes. For a company’s first confirmation statement after 18 November 2025, each director must have verified their identity with Companies House, and the statement confirms it. A director who has not verified yet can do it with CorpAssist from £35.99; we file once they have their personal code.

What if nothing has changed?

You still have to file. Answer “No” to each change question in our form and we file the statement confirming the details already on the register.

Why do you need the authentication code?

Companies House needs the company’s 6-character authentication code for any online filing made for the company. It was posted to the registered office when the company was formed. We store it encrypted and use it only for this order.

What happens if a confirmation statement is filed late?

Not filing is an offence, and Companies House can start striking the company off the register. There is no automatic late filing penalty as there is for accounts, but you should file as soon as you can.
